Im trying to do some finacial planing with interview trips and trying to get an idea of what it will cost me. So a little help please. Here are my stats

-Overall GPA: 3.51
-Science GPA: 3.64
-DAT AA: 22 (perfect OC score, 20 across expt. on QR=19)
-DAT PAT: 20
-App. mailed Aug. 11
-Iowa resident
-Schools: Iowa, Colorado, UNC, USC, HArvard, Columbia
-Notable EC's: 3.5 years of research, including 1 year (currently) being a clinical research coordinator, seeing several patients/day; other reseach included surgeries on small rat CV system and the brain (high level of manual dextarity involved); 1 year volunteering; 1 semester abroad in Australia;10 hour of dental shadowing.

Given that, would it be safe to say that i will be interviewed from all of the schools I applied to?Not trying to brag, taunt or be cocky, just trying to plan ahead for an expensive process. Thanks in advance.

Your GPA (like mine) isn't the greatest so don't be shocked if Harvard doesn't invite you but, I think you still have a good shot that they will. Harvard is never a sure thing. You should be fine for the other schools for interviews. Good luck!

Iowa will be iffy, could go either way, if youre not an Iowa resident. But if you are an Iowa resident, you're golden for an interview and acceptance at Iowa.

Ditto for UNC.

I am an iowa resident. I spoke with a adcom member and he told me if you are from iowa with over a 3.5, you have no worries...not to mention i had a solid DAT.

As for harvard...I am banking on my research experince to carry me here. Since they are big on research, i think this will make up for the GPA.

I wouldnt say our GPA's are that bad. They are both good to great, but not exceptional.

I think a 3.5 GPA is more then enough to get interviews with 20's on the DAT.
