Hi all,

I'm trying to apply for jobs this fall and I wanted to know when interviews usually are. Are they normally on Fridays or are they also mid-week? I want to know if I have to search for a part-time job if I can't find a flexible full-time one.

How long do they last? What about including travel time?

Thank you!

Interviews are during Monday thorugh Friday. you start in the morning and are done in the afternoon. if need be you could fit everything including travel round trip in two days. arrive the day evening before, have your interview and leave in the evening. it can get very tiring but it is possible.

A few schools started the interviews a little later. I remember flying in the morning of one interview then flying out the same day (but that is definitely not how the normal interview day goes). Unfortunately interviews are scheduled every day of the week (like GujuMD said).

different schools have diff interview days and times. for example, i believe vandy lets you pick practically every day of the week (they give you a list of possibilities and you choose), emory interviews i believe on only mondays and friday, and baylor interviews only on fridays and doesn't start the day until noon so unless you get really lucky its sorta impossible to fly out that day. most interviews in my experience, however, you can fly in the night before and fly out the same day ie they are done before like 6 pm.
