Interviews with missing LOR

Has anyone heard of anyone getting interview requests with missing LORs?

I've applied to NOVA and have a 3.6 GPA and 360AA 380TS and have all my LORs (2 science and 1 optometrist) but my nonscience prof. I've found myself in a quite a bind with that last letter and will probably have to wait until later this semester before I can even request it. I'm concerned my application won't be looked at until my file is 100% complete -- and that might not be until December. 🙁

I got an interview at UAB w/o any letters in my file.... I think it just depends on the school and your individual situation. You shouldn't have a problem with your grades and scores...

hey good job on your OAT fla2009! I'm still waiting to hear back from NOVA as well.. they got my app. like a week and a half ago I believe..i too was waiting on a LOR from my science professor

I have the EXACT same stats as you fla2009, 3.6 360AA 380TS. I should get all my letters this week and then hopefully an interview soon at NOVA. I'll tell you how everything goes because we'll probably have the same outcome. I don't think December will be a big deal, don't worry too much.

I have the same question!! I have a 3.8 gpa, 350 aa, and 360ts, have worked in an office for 2 years, and have lots of leadership experience. I asked professors and two doc I work with about two weeks ago to write and send the letters. Today I walked into one of the Dr.'s office and saw the form just sitting on the desk.

I'm applying to UMSL and SCO...has anyone gotten interviews without the LOR?

Will you have your LORs by the time of your interview? I'll still be missing one and I'm worried that since the interview is open file, I'll have to push back til when I have everything. I emailed Fran about this (I was up late last night worrying about it and couldn't call, haha) so I guess we'll see what happens. I know when I spoke with her over the phone to schedule the interview she told me to work on having everything in by the interview...

I should have my letters in by that day. I'm not sure about your situation, hope everything goes well though. To me it doesn't seem like that big of a deal b/c they already gave you an interview, but who knows. Hopefully I'll see you on the 26th. Do you know how many people usually interview on a certain day?
