I posted this earlier but i dont know if it worked out...I was just curious as to how generous are schools in handing out interviews? Do they just hand them out readily or do they really pick potential students? thanks

It depends on the school. Temple is notorious for interviewing lots of students. Other schools are more selective.

how about columbia?...are they generous or more selective?

I would call the school and just ask them how many people they interview and how many people they accept on average. I think most schools will tell you that information. That'll be the best way to judge how selective a school is about giving out interviews.

The document sent from Temple indicates that every 500 applicants would get interviews out of 2,000 applicants. If I don't remember wrong, they admit 135 D1 students every year.
135 x 4 = 540. So, I think it is still reasonable to interview these amount of applicants.

i am having a little ptoblem with this kind of a question.
what if you had a patient who didn't pay?

i mean you can answer this in many ways, but what do you guys think the adcom people are looking for?

They are looking for somebody who can convey their own answer in a direct and positive manner.

They probably don't care as much what your answer is as how intelligently you can convey it.

Me entiendas?
