Is it okay if intro to biochemistry course is taken to satisfy med school requirement or its best to get into a more advance biochemistry course?

Spring 15: Intro bio 100A, Gen. chem 101, and Math 204/P
Summer 15: Intro bio 100B, gen. chem 102, math 205/P
Fall 15: intro bio 100C, gen. chem 103, Physic 101
Winter 16: Organic chem 291A, Intro genetic Bio 340, physic 102
Spring 16: Physic 103, organic chem 291B, Organic chem 292A
Fall 16: Molecular genetic 435, Organic chem 292B, Intro biochemisty 435

Since I haven't taken any of my science classes for ages, I decided to retake these classes to refresh my memory before the MCAT and to satisfy for med school pre-reqs. Can someone take a look at it and tell me if I'm over taking some course or missing courses? Thank you guys and gals!

It seems you have all the bases covered but any behavioral sciences. The intro to Biochem (435) should be fine. This may or may not be a requirement for med school admissions, but it will be on whatever MCAT you'll take. Another thing to note, is that is while it is not absolutely necessary, it is generally advised to take pre-professional science courses for your pre-reqs. If your school has a 300 level o-chem series, that is advised over the 200... If there are general bio and chem courses designed for pre-health/bio/science majors, you might want to take those. Take advantage (as you seem to be considering) of summer courses. They are great, intense, quick to be done, generally cheaper with a much lower student to teacher ratio.

ah okay, thank you for the advise. I will take the 300 levels O-chem then. I was actually a political science-public administration major so I think that would cover the social science aspect right?

well, not social sciences per se, but human behavioral sciences like psychology and sociology. If you have those, great. If not, you may want or need to take them.

I have taken quite a few of those course as a requirement for graduation at my UG college.
Cultural communication 340
Child development 345
Sociology 1
Psychology 1 and 2

would those courses be enough or does med school require more advance social science course?

Oh no... those will suffice, by plenty.
