Hello everyone! I'm new to this site and before I go any further I want to take a moment and say thank you to everyone on here. This site has given me hope that I will someday be fortunate enough to earn a seat in medical school and make my dream come true. I am a 26 year old non-traditional student. I am currently finishing my BA in Psychology before I complete the necessary academic requirements and a Master's degree before applying. I know that sounds sort of insane but unfortunately I was an idiot when I first graduated high school and attended college. My current GPA is 3.33, which obviously isn't the greatest. I currently serve in the Army as a Civil Affairs medic preparing for a deployment overseas. My dream is to attend medical school and eventually earn a general surgery residency followed by a independent track plastic and reconstructive surgery residency. I have been married for 5 years and my wife and I have one 2 year old son. I think that sort of covers the general information about me. Hopefully I didn't bore anyone to much. Take care.
