have most places sent out all their interview to fill their slots already or will there be some serious movement after nov 1? If they have sent out all of their invites, does that mean the only way to get invites now is if people cancel?

i think it depends on the program. according to what a pd posted here on another thread his program has a huge hold pile that is waiting on the deans letter. some other schools are probably getting close to being done and will only offer interviews if a great late app comes in or people cancel.
