Iowa Application Hold

What is a hold? Is there light at the end of the tunnel or it is simply a polite way of saying "rejection"?

I would love to go to Iowa

I got the same e-mail this afternoon too...I am taking it as a "not complete no", but a fairly strong no. I did like how they say that they will keep our files and possibly look at them again down the road, but our chance at Iowa are VERY low now. I must say though...although it isn't the news we like to get from anybody...it is at least nice to hear something!!
