Hey guys,

for those who already got interviewed at Iowa, I was wondering if you have anything to share about the interview, interesting things, difficult questions and general ideas about the school of dentistry. One of my friend got interview last week and they asked her 4 questions only ( i heard the usually ask around 30 questions so I was kinda surprised ).

Mine is on Oct 28th and I have been practicing on some questions i got from friends who are in dental school and from the interview feedback section on SDN. I have a mock interview on the 16th and a follow up appointment the week after to make sure that Im ready.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks in advance

I interviewed at Iowa, however i don't think it would be fair to start listing off all the questions they asked (not that I remember all of them anyway). Your friend must have been a rare case because they explain to everyone that it is a standardized interview. The interviewer simply reads from a list of 30+ questions, you answer each question and they are not allowed to respond, then you go on to the next question and so on. Don't over-prepare by memorizing answers to the questions posted in the interview feedback. Just relax and be yourself. You don't want to sound scripted. Good luck!

I agree with smiles... I interviewed back on the 25th. Was very easy just really wierd. No responses, nothin at all just question after question. I think I had 39 questions albeit I did make him laugh once! Good luck!
