Well my brother is an Anesthesia resident and he was showing me some study application he uses on his Ipad and he said it has really helped him stay organized and study more efficiently. Anyone have any apps they use for school that have helped? I use a flashcard program on my computer that helps me out.

Asking because I might try some out next semester before dental school starts up.

The ipad/iphone/ipod flash card app I use is iFlipr. It's not fancy but it does the job and was really cheap (under $5 I think) .... generally I make the decks while on a computer, and use my phone or ipad to go through them. I've been using it since first year, a bunch of my friends also bought it and we would sometimes divvy up the work (you make decks for these 3 lectures, I'll do those 3, and we'll share) ... just my 2 cents 🙂

I use Mental Case. Flashcard and study app.

The problem is that it can take a while to input all the data you need, and because of that I typically only use it for info that will be reoccurring or that I deem important enough to want to review at a later date.

The nice thing is that it will connect to other online flashcard sites like flashcardexchange.com and quizlet, so you can download other user generated flashcard sets for material that doesnt really change much (anatomy, biochem, etc).

If your school records lectures, you can use SpeedUpTV to play them back at a faster (or slower) rate.
