So I got an iPad2 (and eagerly awaiting my first iPeriod) in exchange for a desktop. Just curious, soon to be fourth year, would I come off as a tool toting this thing around on rotations? Most ERs and Hospitals are now wifi enabled and I see lots of friends using their iTouches (that just sounds weird) and phones (however, it comes off like they are texting) I kinda see it as a good tool for use for quick access to information (cant access EMR at most sites) as well as easy access to images (to describe stuff to patients) and seems like it would be pretty easy to set up some templates (chest pain, diarrhea, ab pain, peds crap, etc).
Secondly, do I really need this panoptic I wasted a ton of money on and only used during years 1 and 2? It'd be nice to ebay this thing.
Thanks folks, late congrats to all that matched!
