1- what is the mechanism behind hypo or normocapnia in case of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis?
although in case of IPF there is reduced diffusion so that will result in hypoxemia and by logic co2 should be high.

2- what are the consequences when Type I pneumocytes damaged ?
