Who in here has an iPhone or itouch and is addicted to them? Lol I m, so when I am not by my laptop, I'm checking SDN through my iPhone. ( hence some of the Spelling) can't get used to the keyboard.

Maybe some of you techie premeds can work on developing an SDN application hehe.

What exactly would it do? Display the forums...oh wait, Safari already does that 🙄

There is actually already an app on the iphone for message board browsing called "Tapatalk" that has functionality with SDN. It works pretty well for browsing the boards, with the exception of mega multi-page threads (ex. Class of 20XX, Application Threads, etc).

I check it periodically on my phone if I:
  • am bored
  • receive a notification to a subscribed thread
  • have not received a notification for a subscribed thread (which is known for being active)
  • am without my laptop
  • have locked myself out of SDN on my laptop and feel the need to respond to a desperate eggplant-loving applicant.

Not sure how an app would make it better. I would try tapatalk, but that would cost me money.

There should be a mobile version of this site for us people with other phones that don't have apps. My friend has a blackberry and I guess it autoconverts SDN to a mobile version that is easy to read and loads 20x faster than the regular site on my phone.

SDN works great on my blackberry. I use it on the bus all of the time or when I'm waiting for class to start. I can post fine and it loads fine.

SDN iPhone app.😀
