Any of you guys know how in depth we have to know our
spectroscopy? Do we just need to know basics(i.e. amines,
carbonyls, alcohol) or should we know things like ester
carbonyls are more downfield than amide carbonyls.

Anybody that has taken the test have any insight on this?
Cuz it's seriously freaking me out:scared:
 
I just took the dat a week ago and there was no IR questions. I wouldnt risk not studying it though. As long as you know where different functional groups appear you should be fine. Just memorize carbonyl carboxy alkenes alkynes c-o etc you should be fine
