I'm working at the NIDA at the Bayview Medical center through the IRTA program beginning in July.

Is anyone else currently working there or planning on doing so this year? I'm also looking for a roommate.

I also have a postbac position at the Bayview Medical Center....NIA. I begin working at the end of June. Is there a good site to locate roommates. I know it's short notice, but I'd like to live with fairly genuine people.

Hi, I just got a job at the NIDA in Baltimore as well. I wonder if there's any IRTA "community" like there is in Bethesda? It would be great to find a way to meet other post-baccs, and I'm sure there are quite a few between the NIA and the NIDA. If any of you find out about IRTA events or get-togethers in Baltimore, it would be great if you could post that information!

I'm going to start working at NIDA in August. Does anyone have any information to share regarding good places to find housing? Do I absolutely need a car?

Can you all comment on your experiences thus far at NIDA? I recently got offered a position there as an IRTA intern.

Is there an IRTA community in Baltimore with NIDA/NIA? How's the environment? Is it common for labs to pay for their students to take classes at Hopkins as they do at NIH in Bethesda?
