I'm not implying a 20 on the DAT would mean you would get a 30 on the MCAT but in terms of how competitive each score is for its respective test, are they equivalent?
DAT national average is about 17 and from what I heard 19-20AA is the "lowest" competitive score. MCAT competitive score is 30-ish. But this is the overall score, you have to do well in each sub-score in the respective test.
2 years ago a competitive mcat score would be 30+, with 11,11,11 (physical sci, verbal, orgo/bio) in each section being very competitive. Here in dental probably 20+ in each section would be really competitive.
