Is the Kaplan private tutor worth my time and money? Have anybody been successful with Kaplan's tutor's?

Dude, you can pay me half of what they charge and I can tutor twice as better.

That equates to a benefit multiple of 4.

What a deal, take it as it won't last long...

They still charging 125$/hour?

Well the total price for a private tutor is about $2400 with 15 hours and it includes all the online material and the classroom on site. If I subtract the classroom on site which is $1400 the private tutor cost would turn out to be $1000 for 15 hours which is roughly under $70 per hour.

What I was told by someone who attended one of Kaplan's courses was that they essentially cover the Kaplan book. So if you are the type of person who can motivate yourself to study the kaplan book then I would say you are ok. However, if you are a procrastinator then perhaps it would be worth the additional money to pay for a tutor to push you along.

I studied for a week and a half and got through the entire kaplan book. I scored pretty well with the exception of the PAT. Kaplan's PAT examples were much easier than what was on the test. Thus, I would suggest reading the kaplan book and get some other study material for the PAT section.

No. Buy all kaplan course material on ebay for dirt cheap, and use the savings for the following:

1) Other prep material. Kaplan alone is not good enough for the entire test.

2) Pay for the DAT itself.

3) Secondaries, AADSAS fee, etc

You won't always have someone to hold your hand and wipe your rear end for you. The sooner you learn to be self sufficient, the better.
