IS anyone actually planning on going to UCONN?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I've noticed the same thing. They seem to be getting pretty desperate with these scholarships too, trying to get the high rollers to help raise their stats. I believe this is the first time they have offered them.

I'll most likely be heading to UConn, pending my admission into the combined DMD/PhD program. I'm also surprised that more people haven't committed to UConn... most of my friends who got in say that the "boring surroundings" constitute the main deterrent to their attending an otherwise excellent program.

I have ten days to hear from another school before i have to put money down at UConn. However, it seems the date of the next round of offers sits in a grey area. Don't get me wrong, I am more than thrilled I was lucky enough to receive any acceptance at all. It is a great school, and Hartford and West Hartford are good enough for the amount of time a d-school student will have to socialize.

i went to the open house at uconn yesterday and it seems like many of the people there were goign to attend, if they hadn't already sent in their check to reserve their spot.

the school mentioned they had filled a lot of the class already (like 20 spots).

Well UConn does have a very small class size (max of 40) and accorindg to VCloves above, they've already filled half their class...

My apologies, wrong forum. :>

does anyone know how much u-conn's merit scholarship is for
