Is August 8th too late to take the DAT exam?

Everything is in but I have not taken the DAT. I was planning on taking it July 25th, but feel as though I will not be prepared. What should I do? Is it safe? Is mid-August okay?

Ideally, everything (including your DAT score) should be sent in by now, but if you feel like you need until mid-August then take the extra time to do well. A higher DAT score is better than rushing to take it and performing poorly.
