Cathode where the reduction takes place.
For example, Na2+ ==> Na+ + 1e(-)
So does this mean cathode is a positive pole or negative pole?
Since it takes negative(electron) away, I am guessing that it should be positive, but then why does it attract positive amino acid under electrolysis?
