Is Creighton done sending interviews?

I haven't heard from Creighton yet. Will they still be sending out interviews?

Great question, kind of surprised I havent heard anything from them. Contacted them last week and she said my file is still "under review." I also heard last week that they have given out interviews up through January already but if you compare numbers on predents to last year, they havent even come close, im a little suspicious!

I heard back from them pretty quickly after being mailed 7/17. I have an interview in a couple weeks. One of my friends took his DAT in late august and got an interview invite (December) with them shortly after they received his scores. We both have decent stats but nothing eye popping so I don't know what the deal is. Sorry man. I have been passed over by a number of schools as well.

I got an invitation to interview with them months ago (about 2 months? ago) and even back then the earliest date I got was Nov. 9 so I booked it right away. I'm not too sure how many people they interview a day but they told me they start the interview at 2pm and will only last 1-2 hours max including 1-on-1 convo and short tour. They didnt mention if I was the only one interviewing on that specific day though but I was thinking of flying in the morning and flying back that night to skip on having to get a hotel for such a short interview.

I spoke to someone in the office there this week. She said that they are still giving out interviews for the fall. She said that they still have many apps to look at and that mine was just sent for review last week. Also said that interviews aren't mandatory and that you could get an acceptance in December without one.

LOL, say what?! I have never heard that before, craziness! Wonder if you could get an acceptance without even receiving an INVITE for an interview?!

So I decided to go onto predents and check Creighton's acceptance last year and I noticed that there were a few that didnt report interviews there but got acceptances, Ive never heard of a school doing that, how are you supposed to have any clue about their school?

I believe Creighton does not re-interview candidates that they have in the past; if you interviewed in a previous cycle they use the same interview scoring (from what I understand)

I believe they also do not interview their own graduates.

and if they REALLY like your application, they'll just accept you without an interview. happened to a good friend of mine that is a D1 there now.

Yup yup. If you look in the Official Guide under Application and Selection, Application Process, it says Interview is mandatory: NO. 😱

Its the only school that doesnt require an interview, so don't get your hopes up about other schools!
