I know that there are differences between DO's and MD's, however small they may be. DO's do more chiropractic type stuff and whatnot...

Is this a proper analogy? Or are DDS's and DMD's identical in all but name?

dmd and dds are the same thing. just some schools chose the latin one (DMD) for whatever reason.

side note: from the looks of your other posts, are you in highschool?

Yes. Is that a problem? (Not being sarcastic, serious question. Don't know if it's against the rules or anything)

I dont think its a problem at all. Its good to start getting info and start planning your future when you're still in High school. You'll have the advantage of being better prepared for making decisions about what you wanna do with your life. Good Luck!

For future reference, check out the stickies in a form before you post. You're question possibly has been asked so many times the answer is in a sticky at the top of the page. Or you can always do a search. I've been on this site just since March and have seen that question asked (or a variation of it) many MANY times.
