I've done some searches and come up with mixed reviews. It seems like Einstein is a really progressive school but at the same time its affiliation with Yeshiva makes me think it might be conservative when it comes to issues like gay tolerance.

Any info would be greatly appreciated because other than my worries about acceptance of gay students, I really love Einstein. Does anyone know what the gay population is at Einstein or if the students & faculty are supportive?? Thanks in advance.

Oh, and I'd really appreciate it if this doesn't turn into a thread full of trolls. I'm trying to get some legit information that could seriously affect whether or not I will be happy for the next 4 years of my life. Thanks!

Uhm... I don't know much about the school so I can't give too broad of an answer - but I do remember reading an article one or two years ago that partnered gay students were denied married-student housing. The article, as I remembered it, gave the impression that the medical school wasn't happy about it, but it happened because the grad student housing was overseen by the larger university. My advice is to email the leaders of the LGBT club and ask them directly. And if there's not an LGBT club or if people seem weird about telling you whether there is one, that might tell you something right there. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input... Any other opinions??
