Had trouble finding a previous answer but there might be one. Anyways, is FA enough for the Phys portion of Neuro? It's tough to understand sometimes without context and seems to be lacking info (e.g. layers of retina), but it is super long..

What about for the neuroanatomy portion? How much in detail will we need to know that's outside of FA? I.e., do we reAlly need to know where the caudate is, etc? It seems like so much info..

Neuro phys was adequate for me. I supplemented the Neuroanatomy with HY Neuro however as that's generally much higher yield.

Did you go thorugh the entire book or just the neuroanatomy chapter? Also, how much in detail did you feel like was tested regarding anatomy? Thanks!

It wasn't VERY high yield on my exam but it wasn't glossed over either. I had maybe 5 or 6 straightforward anatomy questions, of which 3 or 4 were really simple and the others involved, well, pelvic anatomy.

I had 6-7 neuroanatomy questions, a few of which involved just looking at gross pics of the brain with labeled areas and figuring out where a lesion is, one or two arterial supply ones (blockage with stroke), etc.

I read all of the HY neuro anatomy if that helps
