Is IB Credit accepted by most schools?

Does anyone have experience with IB credit and applying to PT school? Does it apply the same as AP credit? I am in Texas, if anyone has that specific info too.

I've already emailed some PT schools about it and am waiting on a response but I figured it would be good to ask here too.
