I was just wondering if during secondaries, when sending LOR's, will all schools accept it from Interfolio.com?

who doesnt? and if they dont, do we need to go ask our writer to write and mail one hard copy to that institution?

I had no probs with:
UMDNJSOM
UNECOM
NYCOM
LECOM

PCOM interfolios is fine but a premed committee letter is required. Instead of that you may use a letter from your academic advisor or dean in addition to LORs.

I can't tell you what LORS all the schools wanted.

KCUMB does not allow Interfolio, either.

I had no problem with KCOM, COMP, NSUCOM, DMU, WVSOM, LECOM-Erie, KCUMB, PCSOM.

hmmm...so does KCUMB accept or not accept Interfolio documents??

I dont remember having a problem with: UTHSCSA or any TX school actually, BU, Iowa, DMU, Wake Forest, WVSOM, AZCOM, CCOM, Tulane, Emory, Creighton, LECOM, and interfolio.

Last I heard, OSU-COM doesn't take letters from interfolio. It would be best to check with the admissions office to confirm, though.

you learned this directly from the admissions office of KCUMB?

Their website explicitly says that they do not accept letters of recommendation from letter services.

Well, I got interview invitation with KCUMB, but I denied the offer because I already got accepted to NSUCOM and KCOM at that time. So, I think they didn't have a problem with Interfolio. Weird huh ?

Make sure you mail hard copies of your recs to PCOM; they originally told my premed advisor they accept interfolio but then later retracted that, so we had to mail in teh recs.

Do you guys know if the PreMed advisor can send the letters to Interfolio (we do not have a PreMed committee at my school so he has received all the letters) or is it necessary to have my professors send everything again to interfolio directly?

I used interfolio with PCOM, discussed this with them, was told by admissions I was complete, and received an interview(I withdrew pre-inteview). There was pretty big thread on people using interfolio after talking with PCOM but most of those people were not going through a premed advisor.

All I can say is confirm you are complete with all admissions offices you apply to and confirm if interfolio is okay before going that route. These posts are just past experiences and things change.

Am I supposed to sign the release form I send them?
