i'm a hospital interpreter and i was wondering if this is considered a clinical experience since you get to interact with patients and doctors one on one?

I think so,

I used my interpreting experience. But I was interpreting Chinese doctors for english speaking students. Not patients to doctors. Still, it was quite clinical in nature.

I think it probably doesn't get any better than that. You're directly involved in patient care, you see exactly what doctors do, and you get to hone an extremely important skill! Way to go... it'll give you good stories for interviews too.

yep, that was what I told my interviewer during an interview when she asked about my clinical experience .. hopefully it will be fine
