Is it common for schools to combine shadowing and clinical hours?

Which ones? I wasn't aware that any did this, since clinical is literally having contact while shadowing is literally observing and not having contact.

My school doesn't.

Good to know, thanks. I think I’m good in that department (I think you commented “No more shadowing!” on my post once haha) but it’s the clinical hours I’ve got to increase.

Shadowing, which is considered passive, does not compensate for a shortage of active hours of clinical experience (paid or unpaid activity in a clinical setting).
