I plan to take the PCAT in Jan. Right now i'm only taking 13 credit hours in school with classes like A&P, economics, statistics, and immunology. I know those classes are easy but that doesn't mean i don't have to study! I know i have 4 months until the test but I was wondering if that is not enough time. Maybe I should just wait until I finish both semester of A&P, you think? Gosh, I don't want to flip a coin again. So should I take it in Jan 06 or Jun. 06? I'm just so scare that i'll make a bad score! I"m scare of not having enough time also to study also. help help help.. before I pay 100+ bucks for the PCAT... Jan. or June ???

I think you should err on the side of caution and take it in june. Get good grades in the classes youre taking and prepare thoroughly for the june PCAT. Patience it seems, is a very rare virtue...Besides you definitely would need a good background of A/P and a bit of Stats anyway for the PCAT.

If your not applying this year, and you honestly feel that you wont have the time (although 4 months is plenty) to take it in Jan, go ahead and take it in June. The Kaplan book will tell you all you need to know about A/P, there was actually very very little on the PCAT so dont use that to make your decision. I didnt see any stats on the test either. Focus on your algebra/calculus.

I think theres going to ba a lot of differences in opinion on the OP's question. I took a course in the S. Fla areafrom a professor known to virtually guarantee ~90 percentile scores. His info suggests that AP is more than 1/2 the Bio section. Although admittedly it really isnt very indepth or hard for that matter. There is some Stats embedded in the questions(not a lot) but you can expect a lot of Algebra and maybe more Calc. than seen on the June PCAT...So its your call O.P 👍
