Is it hard to get into navy dental program?

I got a recruitment letter for Navy dental and was wondering how hard is it to get into the program? I will probably end up going to an expensive dental program such as NYU and am heavily considering joinining the navy dental program. Anyone has any experience on this?

Find a recruiter and start early. If you're applying for dental school admissions this past summer / now, start the process NOW. It takes a few months.
