Or is the last year of undergrad really stressful for everyone.

I know I got another semester to go after this but I cant help but to think about keeping my grades up, my referees, ec's, graduate and taking the next step such as actually applying to schools, gap year options, if-then plans.

Tell me im not alone 🙁

I don't know, I have senioritis so I can't say I've been as worried about classes as I was before this year.

It's stressful for a lot of people. Leaving college is kind of the "great unknown" because you could really end up doing anything. Coming out of high school, everyone basically knows they'll get in somewhere, it's just a matter of where. After college, people literally don't get jobs, or into graduate schools, or into internships, etc. It can be scary.

I found my last year (before I finally got accepted for stuff and knew what I was doing the next year) to be a lot of work and pressure. It wasn't stress, so much as I felt like I was juggling so much stuff in addition to my schoolwork. It works out in the end, I ended up with my best grades senior year. The key is to just cut yourself some slack and not try to do everything. Lessen your credit loads, cut back on some obligations, and give yourself room to breathe and to get the important things like applications done well.

My senior year was a breeze.

Because I had accumulated 30+ credits from AP courses, I graduated a semester early. I had finished my major's reqs junior year; senior "year" was mostly finishing the gen. ed reqs and taking whatever courses caught my interest. I took Art History , Statistics, Psychology (online), Biochemistry 1 + Lab, and I tied up all my loose ends in research. I only had classes 2 days/wk 😎.

Parts of Sophomore and Junior year were brutal, however.

Senior year has been a joke. I only have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays (same next semester), so all of my extracurriculars have been drinking, playing golf, and spending quality time with my gf.

Senior year thus far has been.....nice. I only took two classes this semester so I could travel for interviews, but once those were over, I only had two classes and work to deal with. Next semester will be back to a full load, but with classes like, "America before Columbus" and "Peoples of the World." 🙄

For some reason I thought you already graduated. Guess I was wrong.

OP, you're not alone. I'm def. having a pretty tough time this semester, but I think it's because I have a heavy load, interviews, and since I got accepted I haven't cared too much about whether I got an A or a C- this lack of effort has been the worst thing ever. I thought I would take it easy and not kill myself before next year, but I wish I would've put more hours hitting the books in the beginning of this semester so that I wouldn't be working so hard now. Neways, I def. won't be making the same mistake next semester. Lesson learned! Good luck to you, we're almost done!!!!

No way....my last year of undergrad was awesome. Classes I was truly interested in, living a good life off campus, beginning to "grow up"....more time at the bars, less time in a crowded basement sucking kegs dry. I also did not apply to medical school my senior year, so maybe this is why it was so stress-free for me (I actually tried to keep it off of my mind till graduation)

OP I'm with you a little bit. No acceptances yet (soon I hope) so I'm trying to stay buckled down on classes in case I need an application boost from fall grades. I only need 3 semester hours in the spring but I may end up taking more unless my situation changes. Major senioritis has set in though. This is our first year on semesters from quarters and the upperclassmen are all aboard on the strugglebus at week 15.
