Hi! I’m wondering for people who has gotten into vet school(congratulations), did you mention communication skills and One Health in your essay? I’m not sure if it will be okay that I don’t mention it in my essay. Tia!

There is no one topic that you have to mention in your essays, because everyone has different passions and strengths. Talk about what’s genuine for you, not checking off boxes of what you think they want to hear. Show them why you’re the catch that you are 😉

If they care that much about a topic, it would have it's own essay. Be true to your answer to the prompts. That's what they want to read

It’s OK not to mention these things. I’ve read a lot of personal statements over the years, some incorporate these topics and some don’t. The most important thing is to write about things you know about/have experienced and are excited to talk about.
