doubtful. derm is nrmp, not early match. PD's could theoretically sign you out of the match if you're an independent applicant (foreign grad, US grad, etc).
This won't happen for derm though, since PD's have their pick of top applicants and there's no reason to "settle" for someone else by signing them early.
In Canada forget about it- it's against the rules to match early up here, even into rural family medicine, you have to wait until match day...Competition wise, Derm is a total crapshoot and even stellar applicants with research fail to match.
