Would it be to late to apply this cycle? If I do I plan on taking the OAT in mid JAN. The reason why this is so late is I have been shadowing an OD at the hospital I do research at and really like the field, which I had not considered earlier. I have 2yrs research, publications, and 3.6 sci and cum GPA. What do you all think? Thanks for any feedback.

It is not too late, but you are at a big disadvantage for schools with rolling admissions. I would still apply though because you will always miss 100% of the shots you don't take in life.

I recommend applying IMMEDIATELY!! So that at least they have some of your info right away and can begin thinking about you...heck they may even invite you for an interview before you take your OAT. Good luck

I think you should apply immediately, as well 🙂 By the sounds of it, you have fantastic credentials to begin with!
