Is it too late to add programs?

Hello all, I've gotten several interviews but not nearly as many as I would be comfortable with. I want to add like another 30-40 programs, but am wondering if this late in the cycle if it's worth it or if it's just a waste of money. Thoughts?

I'm not sure at this point, but FWIW I applied to 10 new programs on Monday and got invited to one 3 days later. If there are spots open, there's always a chance.

Many programs will say on their website that they want to see app materials as soon as the sept 15 date gets here. Might want to check which programs prefer to see only early or on-time apps before applying.
