Sorry i know I posted this message in the DAT forum, but i really want to ask for your opinions. Thanks. ** I have a quick question.. okay here goes: Is it too late for me to try to take the DAT in August? To make the story short.. I didn't think that I will be able to graduate any time sooner than fall 07 and so I have not prepare my application, essay, or study for the DAT. I just found out that I will be graduating next summer instead of fall 07. Do you guys think if I start studying now for the DAT, will I stand a chance of scoring a good score? I will also be taking summer classes.. Thanks

provided you dont take a full course load, maybe a max of 2 courses, you have LOADS of time to prepare for DAT until august.

You can do it as long as you put forth your full effort and become a study machine. 3 months itself is more than enough time to study for the DAT, but the problem is that you will be taking courses still and be preparing your application. That's where I think it gets to be difficult and depends on your courseload. If you're taking difficult courses and you need to get good grades in them, then I'd say be careful. I personally couldn't see myself take classes, study for the DAT, and do the AADSAS application (including the personal statement) all simultaneously. The application took me longer than I expected. Really it's up to you...maybe you should take a Kaplan course so that it will structure your DAT studying and force you to be on track. 3 months is a lot of time, it just depends on how disciplined you can be.
