Exam is in middle of august and I have around 7 weeks of dedicated. I have completed >90 percent of uworld during third year. Is it recommended to reset it for dedicated and then do random blocks?

I did not and would not recommend doing so... I thought that the NBME-written questions were different enough from uWorld as to not make the time investment necessary for a 2nd pass worthwhile. Wrote a thread about it here: Step 2 Retrospective

I think it depends on your baseline. If you were crushing your shelfs and had a relatively high 1st pass % (e.g. 80%+) then it may not be worth resetting.

If you've gotten rusty on your beginning rotations, you have 7 wks - it's fine to reset (I don't think you have to finish all of it). Remember to incorporate NBMEs, free 120, AMBOSS. Also it depends on what score you're aiming for.

Overall, I'd just say take an NBME or UWSA1 as a baseline and see where you stand. The newer NBMEs have a different feel to them so focus on the latest NBME forms (they kinda get close).

For context, I had 5.5 wks dedicated. I had done 95% UW 1st pass, 99% AMBOSS, my shelfs varied depending on my effort (80s-90s), I had religiously done Anki since my pre-clerkship days and continued through my clerkship year (99% matured). I reset UW (did like 70%), I did 5 NBMEs, UWSAs, Free120 (oldest, old, new), Divine Step 2 rapid review - it was brutal but I wanted a strong score. I ended up w/ a 270+. Your mileage may vary.

So I am guessing whether I reset or not, it's not a deal breaker?
I took NBME 10 couple weeks ago and got 225 for baseline

Yup either way is fine. 225 is a fine baseline for 7 wks of dedicated. I wouldn't skimp on the QI stuff - AMBOSS has good questions for that (also UW)
