Is it worth submitting AMCAS on June 6th to wait for FAP approval?

This is totally on me but I submitted AAMC FAP around a week ago with all the documents, today I got an email saying missing documents (it was literally that one file I had just missed having "2024 tax year" written on it). My AMCAS was originally on track to being submitted on June 2nd after I planned some more time to finalize everything but now I'm wondering if it would be worth to wait a little until June 6th to see if I can get approved for FAP first? I'm a reapplicant so would waiting till June 6th merely to wait for FAP to submit hurt me in anyway? Thanks!

could definitely make the difference between being in the first wave or not. i honestly don't think being verified first wave or second wave matters much, and even if you submitted on the 2nd there's not guarantee to be in the first wave. just get your secondaries done quickly, that's more important. a lot of schools don't start interviewing until august anyways.

Hi Thanks! Do you know if I maybe submit early still but adding only one School to my primary. If I get approved for FAP later during verification process, could I add more schools then and have FAP cover them?

Don’t do that.
Wait for FAP official approval because if you submit on your own, you are knocked out of using FAP for this whole application year including being able to use it for secondary fees.
