hi guys,
i will be able to finish the pre req for UF by spring 2006. i am applying for aug 2006 UF pharm program. i have no anatomy so far. i am taking anatomy 1 , org I and American history in fall. I saw in the kaplan book that there is about 40% anatomy(6-7 chapters). SO i am thinking to take the pcat in JAN because of three reasons more time to prepare, i will have anatomy 1 and organic I before i take the pcat in JAN and full study time in X'mas break and no college at the same time.
My GPA is 3.5 and going higher, WHat do u think about my chances of getting into the UF pharmacy program(it's cheaper too than all the floridian universities).
any advise suggestions are welcome. thanx peace out

I don't think it's impossible but I do think your chances might be slimmer. And of course you always have the chance that you might not do well on the PCAT the first time around. It's not as bad as it could be but it's not necessarily ideal either. I would try and take the PCAT earlier that way you can at least have an idea of how you did and then you could always improve the second time around. Plus you might do really well the first time around and be able to be finished applying by january.

HI. 1st post 🙂

Im also applying to UF also for fall '06, the jacksonville campus though. February 1st is the deadline theyre taking applications.

OT but:
All I have left is organic I & II, taking I this fall.

Registered to take the PCAT Oct 22, might also take it in Jan because my O-Chem will most likely suck this first time.

In the last year, I've taken Bio I&II, Chem II, & Phys I & II. Ace'd Trig & Calc awhile back, and Alg. is second nature to me.

Anyways, good luck...to both of us.
