i recently heard that the math is not included in science GPA. (policy just changed or something) is that true?

I mean i know that we have to summit 4 different gpa to aadsas, but when the dental school look at your stat, will they look at science GPA + overall?

is that all they will look at or others too.

so back to my question, are calc and stat included to science gPA?

i believe calc is science gpa. you will come across a lot of these "small" problems when you fill out your application. there is a FAQ page on AADSAS. make sure to check that out if you have any questions. i didnt know if biochem counted as bio or chem? so these small questions you will have to check the FAQ page. if you do not want to check the FAQ page then you can call AADSAS directly and ask them.

you dont have to submit the 4 different gpas. just send AADSAS your transcripts and they will calculate the 4 different gpas for you.

you never know. AADSAS makes changes every year. what may be true last year may not be true this year.

dont worry too much what gpa calculations and what the dental schools look at. just concentrate on your studies. there isnt much you can do about AADSAS policies. if you are applying in a month or so then you cannot do much to change your gpa. the schools see your spring quarter grades if you apply in may.

okay, so are they science gpa or not

according to last years aadsas guide all mathematics = science

i wouldn't plan on it changing this year

like joey said, it's probably not worth worrying about

Look on the AADSAS instructions and it will tell you everything you need to know.

Where did you hear this? Sounds unlikely, math is definately a science.

You don’t actually have to submit any GPA’s to aadsas. You merely enter in all of your classes, select what category they fit into, and everything is calculated for you. As far as which GPA they give most weight, that would be specific to individual schools.
