by the point of application my EC's will be as followed:
Shadowing:
- 117 hours shadowing an orthopedic surgeon (90 clincal, 27 surgical)
- 97 hours shadowing family physician at his practice
- 31 hours shadowing physician who works at a Drug Abuse Rehab Clinic with opiate addicts
Volunteer:
- 585 hours volunteer track coach for an under budgeted high school track team in low socioeconomic rural working class community
- 28 hours volunteering at camp good days (camp for children who have had cancer)
- about 200 hours in the Maternity wing of a hospital escorting families to their family members who have just given birth
- about 120 hours volunteering for habitat for humanity
Research:
- 213 hours in anatomy professors lab doing research GI motility in zebra fish...

- 295 hours research in Biomechanics lab researching rate of force development using an isokinetic dynamometer... 1 Abstract
Other:
- 4 year division 3 collegiate football player for a total of 3192 hours ( bowl game championship one year, made it to Final four one year, made it to Elite eight one year. 2 time conference champions)
- Personal trainer (NETA certified) 6hrs/week
- Anatomy and physiology survey tutor (1 semester)
-Anatomy and physiology 1 tutor (1 semester)
- Biomechanics tutor (1 semester)
- General biology 2 tutor (1 semester)
- phi epsilon kappa member (academic frat)
- National society of Collegiate Scholars member
I guess my question is do my EC's look like they are well balanced? Any input would be appreciated!
