Hey guys,

I'm having a hard time finding this online but do you know if re-applicany is school specific? or general? For example, this cycle if lets say I applied to Ohio state medical school and michigan state medical school and didn't get accepted, when I go to apply next cycle to ohio state, michigan state, and this time also Harvard, lets just say. I am obviously a reapplicant to OSU and MSU, but am i considered a re-applicant to Harvard?

In short, am I automatically considered a medical school re applicant (meaning I have to fill out all that extra crap) to all schools I apply, or only to the ones I applied to?

Although you will only be considered a re-applicant at the AMCAS schools to which you have previously applied, many schools will ask about your previous application experience. It isn't too hard to figure out who is re-applying. AMCAS ID numbers are a give away.
