I'm sorry, I just have to do this for giggles...

Hi. I was wondering what Stanford requires, and if there is any possibility for me to even apply?

PAT: 21
QR: 22
Reading : 23
Biology: 24
G- Chem 25
O-chem 21

Total science 24 ( 99.2 )
AA 23 ( 98.5 )

My Science GPA is 3.75
My Overall GPA is : 3.73

I speak 5 languages fluently (including Jive). And I've done hair loss research, and on top of that I have done lots of extra curricular. ( 500+ hours shadowing), president of 4 clubs, and what im hoping to stick out the most is that I started an erectile dysfunction association program for young men with erectile dysfunction from scratch. I was California Teen Champion in paper, rock, scissors and I also hold a Guiness Book of World Records in break dancing.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Sorry, no luck. You've got to be more than just a Teen Champion in rock, paper, scissors. If you're not a World Champion, then you have near to zero chance of getting into dental school.

Well, doesn't that count for manual dexterity?

.

lol I doubt the Adcoms will think your rock, paper, scissors championship has much to do with manual dexterity, I mean they'll see it as a cool accomplishment, but I doubt anything more.

As for the world record, what is the record for? did you do spin on your head for the longest time or something?

either way those are cool facts about yourself and will only strengthen your application

Hahahaahah !!

Personally, i think they would prefer an accomplished competitive cup-stacker over a rock, paper, scissors champion...

I think you'd have to show your championship skills in the interview. Why not challenge the interviewer and guarantee that you'll beat him or her 5 for 5? You also have to explain how you make your rocks, papers, and scissors. That's the ONLY way you can prove your dexterity.

Heck, to make yourself glisten a bit more, play with your opposite hand, proving you to be ambidextrous. You'll definitely nail the interview.

Hahahaha, you crack me up.... I think you might have a better shot at Dartmouth

Retake DAT and get 28 on every section. GPA is too low it needs to be 4.0 +
Also, only 5 languages.....i think you can do better than that.

hahahahhah

The only way you'll get in is if you can beat one of the admission officers at break dancing...if not YOU SUCK😀😀

LOL i was actually searching if there was a d-school at Stanford! LOL i love this post, it's too funny. It exemplifies typical posts on stdentdoctor.

Some many idiots that deviate the truth and it only stresses the rest of the people who have more average statistics

I have to share my paper, rock, scissors story...

When I was a freshman, I went to Cancun for Spring Break. Our group of eight by the end of the night was split up as the night progressed and eventually I was by myself. So after drinking so many Dos Equis and getting shot down left and right, I decided to call it a night but realized I didn't have any money left as I spent it all on booze lol. In my silly drunken state, I picked up two coconuts I found along the side of the road and offered it as compensation to each taxi that drove by. All the taxi drivers chuckled as they slowed down and kept going. However, this one taxi with a passenger decided to stop and of course I jumped in. As we were driving away I told the passenger dude that I was out of cash and needed to bum a ride. Then out of nowhere he made a proposal to the taxi driver that I would play him in a best-out-of-three match in paper, rock, scissors with the condition that if I lose, then we would pay him double and if I win, then it would be a free ride. I reminded this dude that I was broke but he kept saying, "Don't worry, I got you covered." Alright brotha, let's get it on. So the cab driver pulled over on the side of the road, we all got out of the car and played our match. I lost the first game but came back strong and won the next two, and won the overall match. The cool dude and I celebrated with hi-five's and the taxi driver was a good sport about it. So if you're ever stranded and out of cash, then you know what to do.

Btw, do dental school students go away on crazy fun spring break trips?

NO...D-students have NO LIFE....Study study study!!1 thats all ur gonna be doing as a D-student!!😀

Also known for a fit he threw in 2005 when he claimed, "Paper does not beat rock and punched the ump to prove his claim"

And actually no my friend in his second year at dental school is meeting up all the homiez in Cancun matter of fact after he gets done with his boards but most of the time hes studying. Theres definitely some room for play here and there.
