I have seen some old thread discussing this. I'd be glad if someone told me how useful is this book in the real exam? Has this worked a charm in preparing for high-yield material?

I have a month until exam and any comments would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to waste any single day over something less important at this point of time.

Edit: I have 45 days until exam.

I read Step II Secrets cover to cover and can honestly say that it was a huge waste of time. I do not recommend that book at all. The information covered was both poorly organized and also too basic to be helpful for Step 2. Even rereading through First Aid for Step 1 would have been a better use of time (at the very least, to quickly refresh on high-yield lab associations, etc., that would net some points on the exam). I'd recommend completing all of UWorld, and if needed, supplementing with another more useful review book.

With all this said, if anyone is looking to buy a used copy of Secrets, let me know 😉.

Thank you for your response. I have read a little bit from MTB but I find it very difficult to retain what the book says. I will give another read in the next month while I practice random UW questions.
I have noticed that step 1 covers so much while doing the UW questions for CK. Does that also happen in the real exam?

EDIT: Bad place to recommend the book for sale after your AWESOME recommendation of the book. haha

I can confirm that secrets was a waste of time. Maybe just look at the pictures if you want to.
