Is there a best day of the week to interview, assuming all 5 weekdays are offered?

NQA (Neurotic Question Alert)

So let's say a school offers interviews all 5 days a week, or even most days of the week. Do you think there is an advantage to interviewing on a certain day of the week(i.e. Thursday)? Do Admission Committees generally meet at the end of the week, allowing people towards the end to be fresher on their minds? Is Monday a day to avoid because everyone hates Mondays? Should Fridays also be avoided because adcoms probably just want to go home for the weekend like the rest of us?

Thoughts or insights? Help from people who are/have been on adcoms would be much appreciated.

That’s ridiculous. Everybody knows your astrological sign is the best predictor of day for interview, especially if Saturn is ascending
Disagree. The moon must be in the 7th house, and Jupiter aligned with Mars (we're the only two people here who will get this).

The Mid-Autumn Moon was the optimal time for interviews.

Friday because everyone is happier on friday 🙂

The book When, by Daniel Pink, is a quick read that actually breaks down the best times for interviews (among other things). If you like books on behavioral economics, you'll like this. I found it really useful.

Daniel pink was a speaker at an event I attended and all attendees were given a copy of the book, but I couldn't decide when to read it 🙂

It depends whether you’ve taken eye of newt, wing of bat, and spit three times. Have you?

Dug out my notes: Best time for making a good impression (assuming that you, like most people are a late morning person and so is your interviewer), is morning. If you can avoid being the interview immediately before lunch, too, you'll be better off. I didn't take any notes about days of the week.
