I took DAT on 09/01/2011 and submitted application via AADSAS on 09/02/2011
My science GPA is 3.67
My DAT scores are:
Perceptual Ability 20
Quantitative Reasoning 20
Reading Comprehension 16
Biology 20
General Chemistry 22
Organic Chemistry 19
Total science 20
Academic Average 19

I was planning to retake DAT on 12/03 so I asked NYC dental admission if they could hold my application until that time and They said they will hold it. However, now, because of personal reason I will not be able to retake DAT.
So here is the question, do you think if I tell NYU admission that I will not retake DAT, and use my current DAT score which is listed above, will there a chance that I will get a interview with this score?

What is your cGPA? Your scores look great with the exception of RC.

Your DAT scores look solid too, but the RC... I don't know how schools will look at that. But you do have a solid GPA, so maybe they'll look pass that.

I would just roll with what you have, since you said for personal reasons, you can't retake it at this time.

I'd probably do the same if I didn't get many interviews this cycle. I would see if you get any interviews this cycle, and retake if you need to accordingly or when you have time. It's still early 🙂 I would say you still have a chance.

To be honest, you have a great shot at NYU. Just be patient and wait
