Is there a point in submitting secondaries early w/o LORs?

Hi all,

Just wondering if it's worth submitting all my secondaries as early as possible if my school doesn't plan on releasing their committee letters unless at least late-July...

I know schools don't review your file until everything's in/complete so is it even worth trying to submit all my secondaries ASAP? Or should I take my time trying to make them better since I won't be complete for a while? I know everyone stresses getting everything in early, just wondering if there's actually an advantage to it in this case...

Thanks!

Unless you have a reason to not submit, I would go ahead and submit regardless. You won't be complete until the LORs get in, but I'd still try and get them in ASAP. Is there actually an advantage? Who knows, but probably not.

Don't some schools start reviewing your app once secondaries are in even if LOR's aren't in?

Would being complete late-July still be considered early?

I do recall that some schools will invite you to an interview even before your LORs are in. OSU comes to mind.

Regardless of when your LORs are sent out, I would still get in all your secondaries in as fast as possible. You won't be behind with a late July application - in fact, you will most likely get a few secondaries even until Mid August (depending on where you applied)
