Is there a way to designate "Chairman letter" on ERAS?

My school does not have "Chairman/Chairwoman" of departments.

However, there its equivalent of a Director. The "Director" uses his/her own title.

Because some programs insist on a Chairman letter, is there some way I can designate this?

Or should I go to the "Director" and ask to ensure that he has indicated in the LoR that he is the equivalent to the Chairman?

Thanks

Per my "Chairman," the letter follows a specific format similar to the MPSE. At least, it is like that for internal medicine. So I think a chairman's letter is more than just a letter from a chairman and would therefore stand out. But I could be totally wrong, since I waived my right to see it.

This is basically correct. In IM at least, the "Chair" letter is an IM-specific MSPE with more personal comments. It will be obvious from the content that it is the "Chair" letter.

I just put Chairperson as the title when finalizing my LoRs.
