Is There An Acceptance Cut Off Month?

I know this sounds like a curb your enthuisiasm episode but is there a cut off where you have no chance in hell in getting in and are basically interviewing for the waitlist? I heard if your not accepted by February your pretty much stuck on a waitlist.

like everything else, it probably depends on the school. some schools probably have filled their classes by feb, so people will only get in off the waitlist when people decline their earlier acceptances. i think it's this way for uf and usf.

schools are required to give out at at least as many acceptances as they have spots to fill by march 15.
