I found that studying for the MAT using SN2's schedule was very helpful in helping me achieve the MCAT score I wanted. Without him I wouldn't know about Berkeley review or Princeton review or all the other good MCAT material. Is there a study schedule for step 1 that is similar to SN2 plan? What is the best, go to study material that everybody uses. I'm starting med school in August, but figured it isn't to early to research this stuff.

taus method is probably the closest thing in terms of a forum member coming up with it and it being used by a large number of people.

or you could do an organized program like DIT, kaplan, falcon, etc. but those aren't as popular on these forums as they are in most med schools.

that said it pretty much comes down to first aid + uworld + pathoma + nbme's +/- random resources like usmlerx, kaplan qbank, brs physio, goljan path, hy neuro, microcards, pharmcards, etc. the first 4 are the goldstandard though and every med student uses them. the others some use some, others use more, others don't use any.

many people also do a SSR program like anki (free) or fc (subscription) to remember what they learned during the school year. these are usually dropped come dedicated time.
